BOOKING TERMS & guidelines
WIDER SOUNDS STUDIO

By booking the studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Reservation & Payment

An upfront payment is required to confirm your booking.
Payments can be made via PayPal or credit card.

2. Pricing, VAT & Balance

All prices exclude VAT. A 21% VAT will be added to the final invoice, along with any applicable engineering fees or surcharges.
The balance, including VAT and any extras, is due on the day of your session.

3. Additional Fees

  • Import or setup of pre-existing stems: €80 (payable on the day)

  • Post-production or editing (stems, bounces, etc.): €80/hour

4. Sound Engineering Support

A sound engineer assists with setup, routing, and signal flow during the first 20 minutes (included).
Additional support for tracking, mixing, or production is available on request.

5. Cancellation & Modification (Studio Sessions)

  • Cancellations: Non-refundable

  • Modifications: Allowed up to 48 hours before the session, subject to availability

6. Cancellation & Modification (Group Masterclasses)

  • Cancellations 40+ business days before the start date: full refund

  • Cancellations 39–20 business days before: 50% refund

  • Modifications allowed up to 20 business days before, subject to availability

7. High Season Surcharge

During June–September, all bookings include a 15% high-season surcharge.
This fee appears on the final invoice and is payable on the session day.

8. Lockout Bookings (Workshops, Filming, or Events)

  • Lockout rate: €790/day (+10% fee) for exclusive use (up to 10 participants)

  • For larger events (up to 30 guests), the lockout rate also applies

  • Rate covers space rental only — additional services (engineering, gear, A/V, catering, etc.) are charged separately

  • Lockout hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM

  • Overnight stays are not permitted unless agreed in writing

  • For multi-day lockouts, clients may leave equipment overnight at their own risk

9. Overtime

After 1:00 AM, overtime is billed at €100/hour (full-hour increments).
Overtime must be pre-approved and is subject to studio availability.

10. Liability

Wider Sounds Studio is not responsible for injury, theft, loss, or damage.
Clients use the studio at their own risk and are responsible for the behavior of all guests.

11. File Storage

We do not guarantee long-term storage of session files.
Please bring your own drive and back up all data before leaving.

12. Food, Drink & Smoking

  • No food or drinks near equipment or workstations

  • Snacks and drinks allowed only in lounge or outdoor areas

  • Smoking and vaping permitted only on the terrace

13. Pets

No pets are allowed inside the studio or outdoor spaces.

14. Guests

A maximum of 4 guests is allowed per booking unless otherwise agreed.
Clients are responsible for their guests’ conduct.

15. Studio Configuration & Signal Routing

Studio signal routing, equipment configuration, and system settings may not be modified without prior approval from Wider Sounds staff.
Unauthorized changes may result in additional charges or immediate interruption of the session.

16. Studio Condition

The studio must be left as found.
A €150 cleaning fee applies if the space is left dirty or disorganized.

17. Damage Responsibility

Clients are liable for any damage to the studio or equipment.
Repair or replacement costs must be covered in full.
